Auf der Seebrücke-Demo am 3.10.2020 in Jena haben von Gewalt betroffene Familien aus Suhl die Vorkommnisse von Dienstagnacht (29.9.2020), ihre aktuelle Situation in Suhl und ihre Wünsche und Forderungen öffentlich gemacht:

Hello to all of you kind people,

due to our children’s illnesses, we were transferred from Greece to Germany and then to Camp Suhl in a completely legal way.

On behalf of the vulnerable and sick migrants living in Camp Suhl I thank all of you.

There have been many cases of oppression and violence against us in this Camp. Some time ago, due to the negligence of the doctor of the camp, a mother lost her unborn child two months before his birth, and the mother of this child spends every day crying.

A few nights ago, the security of this camp attacked our room and beat my wife and me. In this bad Incident, my wife was severely injured both physically and mentally.

My little children are in a state of shock and fear.

Two other families who came mediate were beaten.

Meanwhile, a little girl suffering from a severe skin condition called psoriasis suffered a nervous attack, after which her father and my wife were taken to the hospital due to severe beatings.

In this camp, the doctor does not pay any attention to the patients and treats everyone with hostility.

The health situation here is very bad and the food quality is worse than that. Our children often go to bed hungry and many children are malnourished and also our children in this camp are depressed.

There is no translator for us in any language here and sometimes they do not even allow us to speak English and say that „in our country you only have to speak German“.

We ask you, dear people, to be our voice so that justice can be done to us.
We want a change in the medical system and the food system of this camp. I must also say that we do not have security in this camp. We want to be transferred from this camp to start treating our illnesses and our children. We want to start a peaceful life and be a useful person for this country where we have taken refuge because we are human beings and God has given us the right to life which was denied to us in our country.

Our message to you: Take refugees in, we ask for your help.
